Exposher has benefited my life in a countless amount of ways. Through this program, I have gained valuable knowledge on careers, life skills, and personal growth. I've also built strong friendships and have deepened connections with like minded young women. One of the most inspiring parts about being in Exposher is the opportunity to learn from speakers from all walks of life and they all generously share their knowledge and experiences to empower the next generation. The chance to travel and attend events in different locations has made the experience even more enriching and memorable. If you're considering joining Exposher, I encourage you to take that step. Mrs. Chavonne is an incredible mentor whose dedication and passion are evident in everything she does to help young girls succeed.

From struggling with a 1.3 GPA to graduating high school with honors, founding the first majorette dance team at Cal State Eastbay, and a 2025 graduate with a degree in criminal justice.

I didn’t know if I was going to make the age of 18 because of my surroundings. I had no one telling me what the correct way was. I felt like I didn’t belong anywhere until I met Ms. Chavonne. She came into my school one day and it was one of the most life changing experiences. She told us that we are worthy and that there is a whole world out there waiting for us and that’s the day my life changed. I started attending the workshops, my grades improved and my whole outlook on life improved.
